Smoothie moOvIE Bo Boovie


2 Brazil nuts​
Power kale shake
2 c chopped kale or spinach
2 T flax seeds
1 ripe frozen banana
1 c organic orange juice
Scoop of hemp or veggie protein powder (adds 8 gm protein to shake)
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Antioxidant Smoothie
1 c frozen strawberries
1 c frozen blueberries
2 T flax seeds
1 frozen ripe banana
2 Brazil nuts
1 c organic sugar free almond milk
1/4 c water or ice
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Pineapple blast
1 c frozen pineapple
2 T chia seeds
1 ripe banana
1 c organic sugar free almond milk
​2 Brazil nuts
1/4 c water or ice
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind chia 

Very chocolaty shake
1 frozen ripe banana
2T cacao nibs
2 T flax seeds
1 T cacao powder
1 c organic sugar free almond milk 
1/4 c water or ice
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Citrus Green delight
2 c spinach
1 orange chopped up
1/2 c fresh squeezed OJ
1 -2 T flax
1 t vanilla
1/4 c water or ice
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Pineapple blast
1 c frozen pineapple
2 T chia seeds
1/2 ripe banana
1 t turmeric powder
1 c organic sugar free almond milk
1/4 c water or ice
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind chia

"Chocolate"shake
1 frozen ripe banana
2 T cacao nibs
1 T flax
1 c organic sugar free almond milk 
1/4 c water or ice
1 scoop vegan protein powder
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax and nibs

Cinnamon Milkshake
1 frozen ripe banana
1 T flax seeds
1 T cacao powder
1 t cinnamon
1 t mushroom powder
1 c organic sugar free almond milk 
1/4 c water or ice
Blend

Cacao/maca/flax power smoothie
1 c unsweetened (homemade if you can swing it) almond milk
1 t maca
1 T cacao nibs
1-2 T flax seeds
1/2 - 1 banana
1 date (if you are wanting more sweetness)
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Straight up strawberry banana shake
Strawberries
1 ripe banana 
one cup unsweetened almond milk 
2T flaxseeds or 10 walnut halves
1 scoop vegan protein powder
Blend in Vitamix or another type of good blender that will grind flax 

Homemade Almond Milk
1 c raw almonds
2 dates
3 1/2 c water (3 c for creamier almond milk)
1/2  t alcohol free vanilla
pinch of salt
nut milk bag or cheese cloth (nut milk bag is WAY more convenient)

Blend all ingredients in a blender (preferably a vitamix) until completely liquified, pour into nut milk bag and strain out all of the liquid. I usually let it drip for a while, then squeeze out what is left in there.  I wish I could find a good use for all of the pulp, but I really haven’t. It is pretty dry and tasteless. I’ve tried some recipes that I found online and it's fun to experiment.
