Dr Greger - Nutritionfacts.org is overseen by Dr Greger who I love. He is a WEALTH of knowledge and doing so much good in the world., Can not say enough about him We worked on a plant based TV show with him and he's the real deal!!! On the site he reviews research pertaining to nutrition/diet and health and presents it in a short video format. He also does a keynote once a year which I suggest every living being watch more than once. His Book How Not To Die is a best seller and one every human should read.
Dr T Colin Campbell - Dr. Campbell has spent the better part of four decades researching dietary habits, nutrition, and disease. He wrote the books The China Study and Whole which should be read by anyone who eats food. He speaks out a lot as an activist and has worked on the government side coming up with nutritional guidelines. He early on realized that the meat and dairy industries are so deeply involved with the government, that making policy change regarding dietary guidelines is nearly impossible. He is a force in the field of nutrition and at 80 years old is still out there educating and preaching the wholegospel. Early in his research career, when he was working on how to cure the hunger epidemic in the Philippines, he found a link between protein consumption and cancer. He followed that with lots of research that to his surprise backed up what he had found. The best of his life is been devoted to nutrition research and education at the Cornell center for nutritional studies. He offers a plant-based nutrition certificate program which I completed and it was a fantastic learning experience. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Dr Campbell over the past year and he and his wife are 2 of the most amazing people I have ever met. His zeal for teaching about his study finding is amazing. He has more energy than most people 1/2 his age and travels the globe teaching people about plant based nutrition.

Dr Caldwell Esselstyn - Don't even get me started on this doctor. He is absolutely a force to be reckoned with. He has worked with 100's of patients and has successfully reversed their heart disease with diet only. He worked with the sickest of the sick whose treatment would not work, and they got better. He wrote Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease and was a major source of the information and Forks over Knives. Look through his site and definitely read his books. Engine 2 Diet - Dr. Esselstyn's son, Rip, is a fireman who worked in a fire house with a bunch of sick, obese fireman. He was tired of it, so he took his dad's advice and put them all on his dad's diet. They all lost a tremendous amount of weight and are the fittest they have ever been. The book and website have tons of recipes and there are now lots of products out there with the Engine 2 name. I know Whole Foods carries them.
Ornish Spectrum - Amaaaazing doc who has the first program scientifically proven to “undo” heart disease by making comprehensive lifestyle changes and guess what? Yep, those changes include eating more plants and no meat. His program is proven and covered by insurance.
Dr. McDougall' Health and Med Center - This doc worked in Hawaii for years and saw varying groups of people on the plantations there. Overtime he noticed that the ones who were vegan were doing a whole lot better aging without disease than the ones who ate meat. He has tons of different programs to help people change their eating habits and both lose weight and gain health.
Dr Joel Fuhrman - Eat to Live was the first book I read and really does a great job explaining simply why a plant based diet is the best one for optimal health. He is very relatable and it isn't intimidating.
Dr Scott Stoll - Has a lot of good information on how to go plant based. This doctor has done a lot to bring together doctors and educate them on plant-based diets and forming a medical community around plant based eating. He also started the International Conference on Plant-Based Nutrition for Healthcare Workers which is fantastic.
Juliana Hever - Is a plant based nutritionist with great books and recipes. She is a wealth of knowledge!
